Projects - Phase II

Shopping Center-Hazardous Materials back

Client:  Consolidated Consulting/Sub to URS

Project:  CC Chandler Plaza--Chandler, Arizona.
The project involved the sale of a commercial property.

Solution:  An environmental assessment was conducted with findings of several former tenants who had handled hazardous materials on the property. The assessment included sampling for suspected asbestos-containing-materials, mold, radon and lead in water.  PCB bearing equipment  survey was also conducted.  BEAR provided corrective measures for the observed environmental issues to complete the property transaction. A Phase II Site Assessment of the former tenants found impacted soils from various chemicals. The impacted soils were below the Soil Remediation Levels (SRL) for a residential site, and no further work was required.
