Remediation Projects - Impacted Soil Sites

Historic Regional Market    back

Client:  RZ Mini Market, Salome, Arizona

Project:  Salome, Arizona
A former gasoline station reported five separate releases that impacted soils. The vertical and lateral extent was reconfirmed and an additional source area was discovered (unknown UST).

Solution:  BEAR personnel initiated site assessment and identified a large vapor plume. Site investigation and remediation installation work was conducted in Level B & C. BEAR received required permitting with the ADEQ Air Quality Department. Excess soil vapor removal was complicated by the fact that more than 35% of the impacted soils were under the site’s building.
